Photography has always been a part of life growing up.
During film days, the cost mostly limited photography to only vacations and special occasions but there was always at least a couple cameras and a few rolls at home. Along the way, the business of living through life's challenges meant that, at some point, it all just kind of stopped.
In the past few years, I've taken up photography again with my first DSLR. Photography is probably the only creative activity that I've had patience to teach myself. I'm learning things that can be taught and practising what I learn. My goal is to go from taking snap shots to making photos that tell how I see things.
I'm still in process of finding my own look. I seem to prefer still-life subjects and shallow DoF but people and street photography are things that I want to improve upon. I'm looking for any feedback I can get, that will help me improve.
I am not a photographer. I am just another guy with a camera.
